We Are The Reasonables 

"The Reasonables"  is a label we've coined to describe ourselves because we  don't fit under any of the  traditional labels,  such as liberal or conservative.   We combine  Head and Heart --  Reason and Emotion --  Logic and Feelings --  Intellect and Intuition.   Here's a quote describing "A Reasonable."

"I approach all aspects of my life, and particularly money, religion, and politics,  with a combination of what my mind tells me and what my internal feelings tell me.   I call myself  "A Reasonable" which means that on some issues I'm conservative, on others, I'm liberal, and on still others, I simply don't have enough information to hold a strong opinion one way or the other."   

"When I hear someone telling me what I should or shouldn't do, and particularly when I hear instructions from someone who claims to know something that I don't, I  bring my mind into the picture and ask, "What's in it for them?"   I question everything, not from the position of being an adversary, but rather as one seeking proof that the claims being made are based or evidence and not simple someone's belief about reality.   And before I just mindlessly go along, I look for what the evidence indicates is most likely the truth."

Up until now,  our power and potential ² has been completely ignored or put down by those controlling the nation's political and religious structures.   

We are no longer willing to sit on the sidelines while those in charge of the government commit collective suicide and drag the rest of the world down with them.   We are approaching political and social transformation, not from the perspective of asking to be heard, but from the perspective of creating the world as we choose it to be.   We invite you to join us in person with physical activity, endorse our program,² and/or support our work with your financial assistance.

We See Creator/God 
from the Perspective of Universal Spirituality

Approximately seventy-five million people in the U.S. believe in some form of Universal Spirituality.²   Universal Spirituality is a way of looking at life, a way of  looking at who and what humans most probably are, a way of  looking at the source of creation as an impersonal consciousness that transcends human understanding, rather than as a superhuman being who lives in the sky.   

If one chooses to believe anything about God, one must take what is called the leap of faith.²   When contemplating this unknown mystery, there are no provable facts, only theories, beliefs, best guesses, speculation, and, of course, there are an abundance of religious  fairytales.   

Universal Spirituality is one approach to Creator/God, but not the only possibility.   We call ourselves  The Reasonables of Religion  because we apply Head and Heart to our approach to religion and spirituality.   Our perspective on Creator/God takes into consideration the latest Earthly evidence.   Our approach applies common sense, and also considers the history and source of beliefs.   We remain open to change as new evidence becomes available.   We make no claims to having all the answers and we realize that, in spite of their claims,  nobody else has them either.  Here are the highlights of this theory.  

There are no intermediaries between one's self and God.   Humans are inside of and part of Creator/God.   Everything is one.   Everything is   a part of   and intimately related to   everything else.    Everything is energy.   There was no beginning.   There will be no end.   Time is an illusion.   Eternity is now.   

"Physical matter is only a very small part of reality.    Humans are eternal, non-physical, divine beings who always were and always will be.   Humans are intimately connected to nature.   Death of the physical body is simply birth into a different form of consciousness

God is not a super-human being living above the clouds around planet Earth.   God is consciousness -- a consciousness so vast and so complex that it transcends human knowledge and human understanding.   Humans are also consciousness.   God consciousness and human consciousness are intimately inter-related.  

An 'Intelligent Creator' created everything we know about and everything we still don't know about.   Humans are part of and co-creators with the timeless, eternal God.   Within the context of life on Earth, we are the creators of our personal experiences."

Wouldn't it be nice if politicians  could speak the truth and still get elected.   Since they can't, we're going to speak it for them.

We Are Members and/or Supporters of 
the Gay and Lesbian Community

We are a group of men and women who are either gay, lesbian or bisexual,  or who are strong supporters of the gay and lesbian rights.   We are people from three separate yet harmonious groups who have joined forces for the accomplishment of our mutual goals.²    

We call ourselves: The Reasonables For Gay Rights.   Some of us are The Reasonables,²   Some of us are  Universal Spirituality Seekers,²  and some of us are  Members/supporters of the Gay and Lesbian Community. ²

Together, we are co-creating a unique program that focuses on:  

1)  Derailing the Present, Gross, Government, Financial Mismanagement,²  

2)  Obtaining Gay Marriage Rights Without any Fights,² 

3)  Returning Sanity to the Political System.²     and 

4)  Creating the New-Corporate-World.²
